I somehow missed it. I knew I was going to the Los Angeles Film Festival’s debut of the film, but I really did not comprehend the part about it being a ‘premiere’. I saw the recommendation of cocktail attire in the invitation and thought to myself, “Well that can mean anything these days.”
Thank you for quoting me, and not mentioning that I was as under dressed as you were! I love all the threads you will wove into this beautiful story! I am grateful for you.
I want to tell you that I saw the movie, “When I Think of Christmas” on Hallmark and I have to honestly say that your story was much more interesting and fun to watch then the main story. Plus the young lady that played your daughter had a very bad haircut in my opinion. The bangs were awful and they never move when she moves her head!
I love Hallmark movies but the main stories are not as interesting as what is happening to everyone around them. I was very happy to see you supporting the main but wish yours was the main because at the end it’s YOUR story that really mattered.
Thank you for that compliment. It is impossible to convince the networks that people care about characters in my age group and want to see stories about us. I try but the ageism is so entrenched it is truly immovable. Thanks for weighing in about it though. Maybe write a letter to the folks at Hallmark? If enough folks did that w might change some minds. xo BB
