Remember ANNIE HALL and the giant spider? I used to want to: Kill the bugs! Now, I do my best with a glass and piece of paper so I can set them free out the kitchen door. (I was just a little kid when SILENT SPRING came out, and DDT killed the California Condors down to 22 living birds.) So sorry to be a bummer with such an uplifting story about communing with the bug.
