i am very much a do it myself..er. I am a helluva lot older than you and with all the disabilities i have accumulated I am still functioning at a very high level without a lot of help. So look positively to the future. I am impressed you have so many supportive people right now. Keep truckin' and good luck in' ... all you do.

Well said. Being very independent myself, it is quite a challenge having to ask for help. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I am glad I am not alone here. Technology, in some ways, helps me be more independent as a Deaf person. Sometimes I still have to ask for help and I am okay with that now. Impressed by everything you are doing.

You have described the aging process beautifully. Age is not just a number or mere collection of decades. Though we may soften its blow for a brief session with attitude and state of mind, it will one day be the ultimate boss of us. How fortunate for those of us who love the end results of your work (and perhaps good natured mania) your “waning years” are far, far away. Apparently slow just isn’t in your DNA.

You are right. Slow just doesn’t work for me and I’m still enjoying all of the activity but I do need to make room for more down time.
