You write in such an immediately relatable way. Following your blog, it’s clear you have become a novelist. Your life stories are so rich and your ability to decide between which experience to share further illuminates your talent as a writer.
Another story that really needed to be told as only you can. A history lesson with great perspective, at times dark and sad. But also a tale of love and selfless determination. In the first chapter of your Rescue Me series when you introduced us to Fairness, you mentioned that you were good with difficult rescues. This chapter relates just how good! Thank you for making us think outside ourselves. We need this.
Thank you Chris. You always have such lovely insights. It was not na easy story to curate, so so so much went on, but I think I got to the heart of it. Hope so anyway.
Your piece on the distant location shoot and the dog rescue against the background of a location where horse drawn vehicles still shared the road is great!
It is a reminder to you, me, all of us to set aside the first person singular and use our talent to bring the world of observation and experience to life.
Jonathan Living Seagull and Richard Harris leaving the cake he took so long to bake out in the rain is all the self examining, self-centered musing we need.
Greetings from San Jose where I escape Austin's blazing heat and support my wife's traveling nurse work. Two weeks ago, in the magnificent county park nearby, at dusk, I spotted a Mountain Lion!
Your message came through! Thank you for your response. I am in Montreal on a movie and we are all wearing jackets in August! Amazing. Have a great time in San Jose Such a beautiful place.
Thank you for always caring for the “strays” - both human, and canine.
Let's hear it for the crazy wolf-dog ladies rescuing pups from Romania! Bless you Suzy and Beth.

Beth, the “heart of it” and your heart certainly came through.
