Dad joined her Sunday on whatever journey lies ahead. Their marriage did not work, but they raised four kids together and got a kick out of each other for over 60 years. That counts for something. Not sure if they went up or down. Neither of them believed in after life but they both had great faith in good champagne and a bowl of nuts. So wherever they are I hope they are raising a glass and sharing a bite.
sorry for your loss, there's no real words one can say to comfort in times like these but the Lord is near to the broken hearted.
