Could it be the the bad driver was a shill for Geico and all else conspired to get you to try the LA public transport system. Not like NYC. May you have some pleasure in your walks.

Hi Beth! Well this stinks! Love your attitude! My first accident was when a rabbi hit the back of my car on a residential street. I was just out of grad school and had no idea of the process. He was the nicest man and followed up with a phone call to make sure all was good! I share that story all the time and remember his kindness decades later!

Yes yellow means yield! 💕Laura in Colorado!

PS call your agent we need to see you on screen!

I am in a few episodes of a new miniseries on HBO called " Love and Death" have a movie called " The Nana Project" coming out soonish.

That was my second accident and both times I was not at fault. Going to let other people drive for a minute.

First of all: yikes on a bike as us kids say and I’m glad you are ok. Second, I kind of adore your challenge and already read through the update of that adventure. When there is a will there truly is a way and I’m sure you’ll be Citibike ready any time you make it to NY because those actually can make quite the fun afternoon.

And yes to bringing parasols back (for obvious reasons). I know of some great ones with cooling effects and UV protection.

It honestly sucks but I’m glad you are making the best out of it.
